Treated Timber Firring 6 – 0 – 6m

Our Treated Timber Firring 6-0-6m is a precision-engineered roofing solution designed to create the essential fall and drainage gradient on flat and low-pitch roof structures. Pre-treated with a high-performance preservative, this firring piece offers outstanding protection against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack, ensuring long-term structural integrity in even the most demanding weather conditions. The 6-0-6 profile provides a consistent, graduated taper that allows rainwater to drain efficiently away from the roof deck, preventing pooling and the associated structural damage that standing water can cause. Manufactured from sustainably sourced softwood and pressure-treated to Use Class 3 standards, this firring strip is ready to install straight from delivery, saving valuable time on site. Ideal for use with OSB, plywood, and other flat roof deck materials, it is compatible with all common flat roofing systems including EPDM, felt, and GRP. At 6 metres in length, each piece covers a generous run, reducing the number of joints required and contributing to a cleaner, more efficient installation. Whether you are a professional roofing contractor or a skilled self-builder, this treated timber firring delivers the reliability, consistency, and performance your project demands. Available in bulk quantities with competitive trade pricing.
